CHANGELING (2008). BOATS. You have to admire Clint Eastwood. Now nearly 80, he churns out a film or 2 every year, keeps acting, and – best of all – is getting better at what he does. Credit to Angelina Jolie also, who is usually seen as a glamorous magazine cover icon. But in this based-on-a-true-story-which-is-hard-to-believe, she is excellent as a single mother who is understandably distraught when her son disappears and then equally unhappy when the LAPD bring back a child who is not her son and tell her that it is. Set in the 20s, the film is definitely worth watching, if occasionally harrowing.
