CADILLAC RECORDS (2008). On the one hand, it’s fun to see great musicians – Muddy Waters, Etta James, Chuck Berry and Howling Wolf brought to life by good actors, and Adrien Brody does a good job as Leonard Chess, but the film moves in a ponderous chronological manner with too many different stories for us to get emotionally involved.
