BE KIND REWIND (2008). The premise of this film is charming and original, and the execution is well done, but somehow it never gets out of second gear – it’s nice rather than memorable. Jack Black and Mos Def have to replace a whole video store’s worth of films by reenacting them with just themselves as actors.
