AIRPLANE (1980). It regularly appears at the top of funniest comedies of all time lists, but it’s not so much a film as a series of sketches, lampoons and parodies that is to blame for the endless spoof movies we have been inflicted with ever since. I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s just not as great as everyone says.
