ABOUT SCHMIDT (2002). Jack Nicholson is not afraid of looking old; here he plays a retired guy whose wife dies one day. He decides to take off in his jumbo mobile home in the search for meaning, though what he finds are odd people, and some of his own shortcomings. Worth watching.
