THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT (1994). I have never been a fan of flamboyant queen movies like La Cage Aux Folles and this Australian film about three drag queens travelling from Sydney to Alice Springs by bus for a show. Guy Pearce, Hugo Weaving and Terence Stamp are the stars, and the film shows them interacting with aborigines (friendly) and rednecks (unfriendly) before an inevitably sentimental climax.
